  • Administrator PDP – Focusing on the new features planned for an upcoming release that will include social networking built in.  This session highlighted the “My Blackboard” stream.

DLIT Staff Reports

  • Eric Kunnen
    • Revisions to DLIT Dept Plan – Provided revisions to the DLIT 12-13 plan.
    • Collected NBC Learn Video results via report.
    • Attended ISIS Project Meeting – Ann gave an update on adjunct work coming up with Lilly Anderson.  Updates were provided by group including upcoming training and planning for summer.  Discussion about needed EOL faculty hours to carry out planned sessions, trainings, and events.
    • IT Project Management Meeting – Ric U, Mark N, David A, Darcy S, and Eric K met to review existing projects in the PMO office.
    • ELI Spring Session – Work on website with Garry B, coordinating appointment, orientation and readiness check with Meegan W.
    • ETOM Board Meeting – Higgins Lake Conference (June 18/19) was the key area of focus.

    • Online Course Development
      • Initial meeting with Patrick Kamau for CLS 111 on April 4th
      • Followed up with faculty who had indicated they would be developing courses during the Winter 2012 semester who have not yet submitted their course for review. April 3rd was the deadline for April course reviews.
    • Attended Blackboard Team meeting on March 29th
    • Assisted during the OHCC optional sessions on March 30th and April 4th
    • Attended ISIS Project Management Meeting on April 2nd
    • Participated in Orientation webinar on April 3rd for the ELI Spring Focus Group on Learning Analytics
    • Met with Eric, Garry and Szymon to discuss mobile development and digital pen devices on April 4th
  • Jose Mora
      • Processed enrollment for MCCVLC students
      • Worked with cashiers and enrollment center to extend students tuition deadline

EOL Faculty Reports

  • Luann Keizer
    • Reviewed preliminary online development of three courses with adjunct faculty.
      Developed outline of marketing plan for new online degree.
      Enrolled two, completed one person in Blackboard Basics online
      Assisted faculty with Blackboard questions/issues.
      Drafted article for possible publication in Journal of Online Learning and Teaching.
