This trend is expanding nationwide as more than 6 million students are enrolled in at least one online course, according to the “Going the Distance” report by the Sloan Consortium and the Babson Survey Research GroupOnline learning is also growing in K-12 as local communities such as Jenison are beginning to offer online courses and credits that will contribute to a high school diploma through the Jenison International Academy.
