Blackboard and the Road Ahead

Blackboard continues to pioneer and innovate to advance learning through technology by releasing Service Pack 8.

How much input did Blackboard receive?  In the latest release there was involvement and contributions that included:

  • 330+ listening sessions
  • 50+ onsite client visits
  • 40+ events
  • Blackboard Idea Exchange
  • Cohort programs

In recent releases, a wide array of enhancements have been added to provide new capabilities and greater efficiency.  A few of the advancements include:

A little further down the road, Blackboard continues to innovate in the areas of institutional surveys, reporting, standards, learning objects, social learning and in the establishment of personal learning network spaces.
