Using Course Canary for Feedback in Blackboard

Course CanaryBlackboard surveys work well for content and instructor feedback that covers the entire course. Course Canary (currently invite only) is a great tool to gather feedback at a module level. Basically, the tool provides survey templates and allows you to generate up to 15 module surveys with one click. Each survey comes with its own embed code that can be added to Blackboard with the Item or Blank Page tool.

Another real advantage of Course Canary is the ability to embed the feedback reports into Blackboard. It’s very easy to build a “dashboard” within a content area (not visible to students of course) that allow you to see module feedback without logging in to the Course Canary site.
