  • Student Elections on Bb – Worked with Eric Mullen in Student Life to look into developing a solution within Bb to host campus wide elections for Student Congress.  In the wake of adopting a campus activities fee, Student Congress has set a campus wide election process as a top priority to increase student awareness and participation in their governance body.  We believe a voting solution through Blackboard provides the most flexible and integrated solution to allow the most number of students to become aware of and participate in the election process. The session was led by Craig DeVoe, VP of Mobility Solutions at Blackboard.  The focus was on reviewing a variety of institutions and how they have worked to improve student engagement via mobile. • Bb 9.1 Service Pack 2 Released – DLIT spent time reviewing SP2 release notes and resolved issues.  Because SP2 resolves several key issues, we need to work on scheduling a testing phase and then coordinate and review plans to install into production 9.1.
